SNPE Matériaux Energétiques designs and mass produces the different types of charges for pyrotechnic generators destined for the automotive safety market. These charges allow protective cushions to be deployed and seat belts to be tensioned. They are used in all vehicle applications:

driver and passenger airbags, side airbags, thorax airbags, curtain airbags, knee airbags,
seat belt pre-tensioners, reels,
hood raising systems.

Present in this segment for more than 15 years, SNPE Matériaux Energétiques covers 20% of the global airbag market.
